Today, we are excited to announce that we are looking for three dedicated individuals to join our moderation team for the Immortal Rising 2 Discord community!
As an ImMod, you’ll be at the heart of our community, playing a key role in fostering a positive and welcoming environment for all members. [ 🙏 What’s expected from you? ]
1. Basic Moderating Duties:
Keep an eye on all chat channels to ensure conversations stay on topic and within community guidelines.
Actively participate in discussions to keep the community lively and engaging.
Work closely with other moderators and the community management team to ensure a cohesive approach to moderation.
Ensure that all members follow the server rules and guidelines.
Issue warnings, timeouts, or bans to users who violate the rules, based on the severity of the infraction. This includes removing or addressing inappropriate content, spam, or disruptive behavior.
Monitor voice channels to ensure respectful and appropriate communication.
2. Engage and Assist Community Members:
Greet new members as they join the server, guide them through the onboarding process, and help them get settled into the community.
Provide support to members who have questions or need help with the game or server.
3. Community Events:
Help plan, organize, execute, and gather results for community events, such as tournaments, giveaways, or special game nights.
Promote upcoming events and encourage member participation.
4. Reporting:
[Async] Weekly Community Sentiment Report: Submit a community sentiment on weekly basis highlighting any issues, hot topics within the community through out the week.
Document and report significant incidents, rule violations, or recurring issues to the community management team.
Gather feedback from community members and potential new users to improve the server experience and game features, and relay this feedback to the community management team.
Communicate any issues or trends observed in the community that may require attention or changes in strategy.
5. Promoting a Positive Atmosphere:
Encourage a welcoming and inclusive environment where all members feel valued and respected.
Lead by example, demonstrating positive behavior and adherence to the server's values.

[ 🔍 Requirements ]
Proficient in English
As English is our main language of communication, strong written and verbal skills are essential.
Web3 Knowledge
A basic understanding of Web3 concepts is a must to effectively moderate discussions and assist community members.
Time Commitment
You should be able to dedicate at least 10-15 hours per week to moderation duties.
Active Engagement
Willingness to actively participate in community events, discussions, and activities.
Team Player
Ability to work well with other moderators and the community team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Problem-Solving Skills
Capable of handling issues calmly and fairly, with a focus on conflict resolution.

Previous Moderation Experience
Experience as a moderator on other Discord servers will be a great advantage.
Knowledge of Immortal Rising 2
Familiarity with our game will help you connect with the community on a deeper level.
Event Participation
Experience in organizing or participating in community events will be highly regarded.
Outgoing Personality
Friendly, approachable, and capable of making connections, but with the ability to remain objective and unemotional when necessary.
People Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills to manage and foster positive interactions within the community.
[ 📜 Basic Guidelines for ImMods ]
1. Number of Moderators:
We are appointing 3 moderators this term
2. Term Duration:
Moderators will serve a 6-month term, starting on September 9th.
At the end of each term, the Immortal Rising 2 team and the moderators will discuss the possibility of extending the term.
3. Selection Process:
Moderators will be selected by Immortal Rising 2 team.
4. Term Limits:
Generally, you may serve as a moderator for two consecutive terms. Extensions may be considered based on discussions.
5. Compensation:
Moderators will receive compensation for their role.
Additional rewards may be provided based on enthusiasm and contributions at the end of the term.
6. Conduct:
Moderators must avoid offensive language, harassment, and any disruptive behavior. Specific guidelines will be provided to ensure a positive community environment.
Moderators may face restrictions in their in-game activities to maintain fairness, especially when they have access to exclusive information as part of their role.
7. Dismissal Rights:
The Immortal Rising 2 team reserves the right to remove / dismiss moderators from the role without prior notice if the actions are deemed offensive, disruptive or cause negative sentiment within the community and towards the project.
8. Confidentiality:
Moderators will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before beginning their role.
